Every year in July, blueAPACHE turns a year older and we mark the occasion with our annual golf championship and birthday celebrations. With more than 75 people attending, we had record attendance this year, not just from across the country but also halfway around the globe from Florida.
It was a windy, sun-drenched winter morning when the team gathered at the Studley Park Golf Course for some hearty celebrations and an array of golf competitions. We kicked off with the team competition in the morning followed by lunch at the Boulevard Restaurant and speeches and presentations by the leadership team.
This year, we acknowledged a very special accomplishment by one of our team members. Raymond Dick, Technical Support Manager at blueAPACHE, completed 10 years with the organisation and was presented with an aptly-named Raymond Weil watch as a thank you for his immense contributions to the business.
Post lunch, the individual championship round allowed for the more proficient golfers to battle it out for the perpetual trophy. We saw the rise of new champions this year with the sudden-death format.
