Last week, blueAPACHE connected their emPOWER Cloud and emPOWER Network directly into the Federal Government National Broadband Network (NBN).

For those connected to the NBN, you should see improved speeds (subject to your network connection) across the full spectrum of blueAPACHE converged services.

Customers in roll out areas, can now leverage the NBN infrastructure to realise the potential of Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) services by directly connecting to the emPOWER Cloud over high speed and high availability fibre connections.

Chris Marshall, CEO of blueAPACHE, said “We are thrilled to be able to leverage the Government’s NBN initiative to provide increased accessibility to the entire blueAPACHE range of converged services, including IT as a Service.

“Our network integration means more customers across disparate locations can not only benefit from the broad range of technology services blueAPACHE provides, but also improve capability through access to improved point to point technologies like telephony and unified collaboration.”

The NBN is a Federal Government initiative to ensure all Australians can choose high-speed broadband. A network of fibre to the premise services is being rolled out across Australia on a region-by-region basis, to 93 per cent of premises. This will enable more businesses to leverage emerging technologies like Cloud, Unified Communications and Managed Services, realise the many benefits of Converged Solutions.
