Earlier this week, blueAPACHE held our annual blueAPACHE sales kick-off (BASKO) event for the upcoming financial year.
Over two days, our Sales and Commercial Accounts teams spent the weekend at the Torquay Peppers Sands Resort & Golf Club for a session of golf, conference, dinner, presentations and information sessions.
The event kicked off with 18 holes of golf on one of Australia’s best courses with spectacular views. Braving the wild winds and weather, teams teed-off and displayed their determination to the very end, making it one of our most memorable golf sessions. The evening was followed by drinks and dinner in the evening, where everyone had the chance to sit-back, enjoy, and get to know their team mates over dinner.
“It is always beneficial to have such a great team together. There was a lot of collaboration, some clear competitive spirit and a laser focus on the great outcomes we deliver for our clients. As we expand our team, events like this are paramount to alignment and success,” says Andrew Harris, General Manager of Sales at blueAPACHE.
The morning conference started off with the leadership team taking us through the blueAPACHE journey from humble beginnings to where we are today. This success is founded upon blueAPACHE’s vision for people to have secure and efficient access to their systems wherever they are, all of the time.
In the later part of the day, the highlight of our afternoon session involved a contested “blueAPACHE Great Debate” session, where groups debated on industry trends and challenges. While some impressed the group with their technical knowledge and presentation skills, others scored high for their entertaining and comedic flair!
“In a rapidly shifting technology landscape there are now many ways of achieving feasible outcomes for our clients. BASKO allowed our teams to explore the intricacies of competing technologies and architectural design to ensure our solutions are completed aligned to our clients and provide them the best platform for achieving their organisations objectives”, says Chris Marshall, Managing Director of blueAPACHE.
Overall, it was great for all of us to be together, strengthening team relationships and emphasizing the organisation’s strategy and directions for the year ahead.
